What do you need from me to quote?
Four things: the category and rough capacity or dimensions, the quantity per colourway and how many colourways, the destination market, and any reference — a photo, a sketch, a tech pack or a physical sample. Market matters because it decides which trim tests apply, and that sits in the price.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Yes, and it varies by category because it is driven by fabric and hardware minimums rather than by sewing. Every product page states the MOQ per colourway for that body. Splitting a quantity across several colourways usually raises the per-unit cost — ask us to quote both ways.
Can you copy a sample I already have?
That is an OEM order and it is the most common way we start. Send the physical sample. We duplicate the construction, not just the appearance — stitch density, bar-tack placement, trim spec and hardware. We will tell you up front if something in the original cannot be reproduced at your target cost.
How long does sampling take?
Each product page gives the sampling time for that body. A prototype on an existing pattern is faster than a new development, and a pre-production sample waits on bulk fabric and bulk trims arriving. The stated figure is working days from confirmed spec, not from first contact.
Can I put my own label and hardware on it?
Yes. Woven labels, heat transfer, embroidery, silicone patches, and debossing on leather are all standard. Custom zipper pullers and moulded buckles need enough quantity to carry the tooling cost — we will tell you the break-even before you commit.
Who owns the pattern for an ODM development?
Patterns we develop for your exclusive design stay tied to your programme. Bodies already in our catalogue are shared tooling and are not exclusive — if you need exclusivity on one of those, say so at enquiry stage and we will quote it.
Do you make the bags yourself?
We run our own production lines, and we also place work with BSCI-audited specialised factories where a category is better served there. Either way we remain your single point of contact and the party responsible for the shipment.
What is checked before shipment?
Finished goods are inspected against the signed pre-production sample: seam density, bar-tacks at stress points, zipper function, measurement tolerance and labelling. Third-party inspection can be arranged if your programme requires it.
